Karen Bartlett and Ginger Colvin discovered the fourth nest on Sullivan's two lots southwest of the Station 26 path this morning. Nest #3 was laid on their day at Station 29 a week ago. This turtle's tracks were the same size as the false crawls with no eggs that had appeared yesterday and the day before. So we hope she finally found her favorite spot. The eggs were laid just above the spring tide line and were left there to incubate. Carla Garcia from Goose Creek and her two daughters with their two friends were visiting Sullivan's and up early enough to see the Turtle Team probing and marking the nest. They appreciated learning about loggerhead nesting.
