Nest 7 was found by Cindy Bergstrom, Paige Owens, Patty Horton and Tristi Lowther at Ocean Club Villas in Wild Dunes on June 2. There were 111 eggs that incubated for 59 days. Today we discovered that only eight eggs failed to develop and hatch. There were 102 empty eggshells and one dead hatchling left in the nest. Hatch Success was 91.8%.

Nest 9 was laid at Port O’ Call also in Wild Dunes the next day on June 3 and was discovered by Gina and Doug McQuilken. We relocated 121 eggs that incubated for 58 days. Out of the 121 relocated eggs there were 109 empty eggshells and 11 undeveloped eggs with no hatchlings left in the nest. Hatch Success was 90%.
