Once again Shree Beverly and Penny Gorby found tracks and a nest at the north end of IOP. It's a great way to start summer on this day of the summer solstice. This is their fourth one. That means out of our 16 nests on this island, they have found one fourth of the total. This nest was discovered near 60 Ocean Point where Tony and Lori Santiago live and contained 132 eggs which were relocated to a spot near 30th Avenue for incubation. The eggs were deeper than some we've found this season. Amazing job, Turtle Ladies!
