Paula Brady and Neil Hunt discovered loggerhead tracks at the area of Station 14 between Fort Moultrie and the maritime forest this morning. This one's tracks measured 19" and were below the spring tide line where there was a dune escarpment. She laid 99 eggs that we relocated to a good dune about two doors northeast of the lighthouse at Station 18 1/2. While we were there we saw Officer Mitchum from the SIPD who told us about a small dead green sea turtle stranded near Station 11 which we worked up a report and buried on the beach. It was a busy morning on Sullivan's Island.
