Last night a loggerhead laid eggs low on the beach near the 34A Access Path below the spring tide line. Jane Powers, Sue Googer, Linda Bettelli and Debi McGee discovered and reported this nest even though they could not stay to see the outcome and be photographed at "their" nest. We found that this loggerhead mom laid 93 eggs. Since they were in the spring tide washover zone, they were relocated to the edge of the primary dune at that same location. Happy Birthday to Jo who probed and found the eggs!
