We had not had a nest in a week and were beginning to think our turtles were finished laying eggs. But this morning Sissy Harris and Barbara Jervey found two sets of tracks. There was a false crawl near the 34A path and there were eggs laid near the 37A path. Both tracks measured 24 inches between flipper claw marks, so it could have been the same one coming ashore twice. We found 71 eggs in the nest which was laid down by the water below the spring tide line and near where the trucks always drive. They were relocated to a safe spot near the 31A access path.
